With our roots in Colorado, we saw a disconnect. Inland communities are deeply connected to ocean health, yet many people don't realize the impact their local water and everyday actions can have downstream.

Reef Healers was created to close that gap and give more people a way to take action, wherever they live.

Through watershed cleanups, education, research, and community experiences, we help people understand that protecting the ocean can start right outside their front door.

Reef Healers is a woman-owned, mission-based business. We use community, education, conservation experiences, and commerce to help fund and grow our environmental work.

A portion of our profits is reinvested into river conservation and coral reef research through the Reef Healers Action Fund.

Meet the People Behind Reef Healers

Reef Healers was founded by Chloe Rogozinski and Austin Niles, two conservation-minded outdoor enthusiasts who believe meaningful environmental action begins with connecting people to the places they care about.

Chloe Rogozinski

Co-Founder & CEO

Ecosystem Science • Water Resources • Coral Reef Research

Chloe is an ecosystem scientist and conservation leader with a background in water resources, watershed health, and coral reef research.

She leads Reef Healers' conservation and research initiatives, including the long-term coral reef research project at Lighthouse Reef Atoll in Belize.

Her work focuses on making science approachable and creating meaningful ways for people to take part in conservation from rivers to reefs.

Austin Niles

Co-founder & COO

Conservation • Community Development • Environmental Tourism

Austin brings a background in conservation, sustainability, community development, project management, and environmental tourism.

He helps shape Reef Healers' strategy, partnerships, community programs, and conservation experiences.

His work centers on bringing people together around shared environmental challenges and creating opportunities for conservation to become something people can actively experience, support, and be part of.
